Contrary to popular belief, there are some Christians in Hollywood. I know of quite a few, but I’m going to focus on one in particular.

You may have heard of Corbin Bleu Reivers, also known as Corbin Bleu, for his role as Chad Danforth in the High School Musical movies. I have been a fan of those movies since they came out, so I know much about them.

Recently, I found out that Corbin Bleu is a Christian. I had noticed on his website that he always had a Bible verse at the end of each of his journal entries, and he usually said ‘God Bless’, or something along those lines. Well, I know of a lot of people who do that kind of stuff, and aren’t saved, so I didn’t think much of it.

Then in the mail, my mom received an audio New Testament that is done by today’s Hollywood Stars (it’s called the Word of Promise: Next Generation Audio Bible). I was excited to get it, because I love to hear the Bible on tape. I was looking over who did the voices. I saw Corbin Bleu’s picture; along with Cody Linley, Emily Osment, and quite a few others. Well, my first thoughts were ‘they are just doing this for the money; it doesn’t mean they are Christians’. But then I decided to watch the Bonus DVD, that came along with the audio CDs. And I was so excited when they each explained their life and testimony with Christ.

Corbin Bleu grew up in church, and accepted Christ when he was seven years old. He said that he reads over a movie script, and makes sure that there is nothing in it that God wouldn’t agree with before he takes part in a movie.

If you look up the lyrics to Corbin’s songs, you’ll see he never uses bad words, or mentions stuff that isn’t appropriate.

Corbin is setting an example for young people, by staying away from bad movies, and staying true to his faith and relationship with the Lord.
